Sight-SimTM, a unique tool designed for those caring for visually-impaired Children.

 




SightSim LogoKelvin Vision are supporting a team of scientists from NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and the University of Glasgow who have developed the Sight-SimTM product.

Sight-Sim uses a child's measurements of vision- acuity and contrast sensitivity- to degrade images to match the child's vision. Children with poor vision do not complain of poor vision because they do not know what they can not see. Sight-Sim lets you see the world as the child sees it.

With Sight-SimTM, parents, teachers and carers can understand and help make the world a more visible place. They can then make things bigger, brighter, higher contrast, simpler..... whatever makes their world visible to them and then check it with Sight-SimTM .
