Key Patent Granted in the US

A US patent has been granted for ground-breaking research into functional mapping of the retina.       
The idea developed by David Keating and Stuart Parks from the Tennent institute of ophthalmology, details a non-contact functional imager for the retina.  Elaine Gemmell from SHIL describes the technology as “Overcoming the barriers associated with conventional functional imaging techniques”
